Hello World – welcome to first blog post for www.PhotographyWall-Art.com or as we like to say PWA
My name is Scott Hales and I am your host, resident photographer and founder for photographywall-art.com – I hope to post new images and stories behind those images weekly, with that said lets get right to it.
The featured image above was not photographed in the back woods of America, believe it or not it was taken on the island of Maui Hawaii. I was on vacation with my wife and son last June, we were headed up to Haleakalā National Park (the dormant volcano) when I saw a dirt road headed of the pavement- I immediately yelled “stop” and before I could say anything else my wife and son looked at each other, rolled their eyes and pulled over to the side of the road so I could hike/walk down the little dirt road, after a few minutes of walking there it was the image featured in this post.
To quote one of my favorite photographers :Taking pictures is like tiptoeing into the kitchen late at night and stealing Oreo cookies.”
